Lifting and Extracting Video

This video shows a way to edit a video, its called lifting and extracting this allows you to play two videos at once but not only does it do that, it also lets you cut the video you were playing and plays the other video in a a quick glance, this allows us to show the emoptions of the person being filmed, not only is it filming the person doing what she loves to do but it also shows what she is feeling and her expressions towards the sport she is doing, this can be used in any type of video, movie, and commercial. its a very helpful and a great technique top use to make your video just a tad bit better and would be rare to find being used in this teladramtic arts class.

Greeting Card

Looking into other peoples videos i feel that our video was pretty good, there was some exceptions in our video that could of been changed and made it into a phenominal video, but hey the first time is'nt always perfect. While i was viewing other peoples videos i felt tlike we could of done a better job in our video and the our music wasn't really the right choice, we had chosen the piano version of silent night and only reedited the first part. i felt like it would of been a good idea but i feel like we should of just left the song play after viewing the video play in front of the classroom. One thing i wish i could of done to our video by wiewing other peoples videos was that song that Jacob D and Sabrina had put into there video, it made me fee3l very mellow and kick back, i really love that feeling!. Second was in Skyler and Micheala's video, i loved how they said "Season Greetings" both at the same ti e but in two screens, That was very creative by the two and thats definitley what i would of done to our video, i especially liked those videos because i like to be creative and they both had that creativity state of mind. The thing i specifically did to our video was i had done all the scripts and i edited half of the video, i also had part of choosing the song and having the idea if reediting the beginning so its constantly repeating. I helped my partner by giving him some good ideas about our backround and i feel that that showed once he got some good looking backrounds into our video. He helped me by showing me how to edit the song and make it sound like its repeating itself.

Green Screen

The Techniques on using a green screen is simple, it is used for us students to film and we can set any backround we desire. First off what we do is film behind a green screen, and before you edit your video is lame. You have no backround but a green screen. So you go online save a photo you would like to be in while being interviewed, or reporting any type of news. You then edit your clip by using keylight etc, and next thing you know it your in hawaii by the nice warm beach while talking. By doing all these things i felt like after affects was way much easier then using premiere pro. Premier Pro was just way to difficult to use, anyways The only way a greenscreen wouldnt be able to work is if you wore like a gray color or some type of green, cause once everything is edited then you would look see through, so rememeber make sure you follow all steps on doing a greenscreen workshop!

Reflections on the "5 things I learned" about other videos.

I really Admire this video, There are two things i loved about this video and that is that you guys had filmed a bunch of phones in the beginning of the clip and that shows how cyber bullying/sexting happens. And the second thing i really liked was when Michael Watt was walking down the hall and little by little he is disappearing into the sunlight. Great Job guys this clip is a winner!!




Wow!!, I really loved watching this video clip as well. I don't know how you choose between who had the best video. One thing i loved about this video was at the ending of the clip all you guys had said your name and then at the very end you guys all combined together into four boxes saying cyber bullying is bad. That was very creative in that part. Another thing i liked about this video was the beginning when you guys were showing all the pictures of what and where cyber bullying happens for example such as formspring, facebook, and even a text! Once again you guys did a wonderful job.



So there a two things i like about your guys final video, i think it could of been a lot better as in more interviewers but you guys had some key on points. i really liked the part where the volleyball girls were running and at the same time saying the cyber bullying was very bad and not worth doing, another thing i enjoyed was Mr. Shall giving his huge speech about cyber bullying. He said very well and descriptive sayings in his interview which really drew out a picture in my head saying that cyber bullying shouldn't be done in any matter. Good Job guys.
Once again these are the 5.. well 6 things that i learned/likes about other peoples videos and i have now more ideas to put in my next video.

Cyberbully Refelection: Final Draft

This is our video about cyber bullying and there are a few things i really liked about our video, i feel like we really put the message out there and showed the audience what cyber bullying really is and what it causes. People aren't perfect so DON'T CYBER BULLY!!. The comments that my fellow classmates had gave us about our video was when we used well creative filming on our interviews and we had good key points, great music, and the intensity level was good. There were a few changes we had made in our video and that was putting name labels on the people that we had interviewed and we had switched the twitter and Facebook photos because it was out on backwards and it just made a better flow. If we had two to three more days to improve our video i would definitely put in a blooper clip on there to show how much time, effort, and skill it took for us to make an extravagant video like the one3 showed. other then i really wouldn't change anything specific, maybe change up the video orders and better hearing quality. Other then that i feel like our video was good. If i had the chance to do this video all over again i would actually like to make a play of cyber bullying because some people don't get the message by explaining, there's a lot of visual learners out there that would prefer seeing a clip on what is cyber bullying then it being explained. I finally got to make a video that i put effort out. I wanna say thanks to you Dr.A for teaching me the proper ways and techniques on how to edit clips on premier pro. I learned it enough so i can teach others as well. One more thing i got to say about my video is that i cannot wait till its in the bulletin. Once again thanks Dr. A

Title Workshop 1

This is an example of an beginning title, which mean a title yyou use when its the beginning of the video this show the name of your video and it relevates the process of people getting ready for your movie/clip. the beginning title defines the process of your video and if your title is very creative it might not show what the meaning of your video is. But more then likely it really relies on how you see your title as, when your title is for example titled CYBERBULLYING then viewers are obviously gonna think its about cyberbullyiing. You might use this kind of title when your showing the viewers what your clip is about.

Title Workshop 2

This is an example of an opening title, which meanswhen the opening of the video is coming up and the title appears when your video is playing, this is a very attractive concept that can catch the viewers eye in an instant. You might use this kind of title when you are showing you the intro of the video and you show the title of yourt video and it can be used towards the end of your video as a conclusion of the upcoming video. This is a key way for others to see what ypur video is called and it is a huge advantage on the video to make its posture look great.

Title Worskshop 3

This is an example of an title Workshop, which meansthe title that is currentyl posted show that we have put the name of the author or whoever you are interviewing, it is located right below the video. You might use this kind of title when you have a interviewer or you are broadcasting a video of the person, place, or thing. this can be used anytime in the video and it makes it look very attractive. Not only does this show who the person is but its has a little backround of who he/she is.

Insert Video

This is an example of an Insert edit. An insert edit places a clip in rthe middle of the first video clip. To do this, you need redo the video and place in the middle of the first video. I decided to do the 2nd clip where I did because it shows the first clip then in the middle it shows the character and who he/she is like then occurs back the video.

The difference between an overlay and an insert edit is an overlay pretty much overlaps the first video and insert is right next to the first video.
You would use an overlay when you want to show the reactions or emotions of the character, while you’d use an insert edit when you show the character after the 1st video clip. In this case the overlay edit works better because not only it shows the viewer the character in the middle of the video but it concludes with the end of the 1st video clip.

Overlay Video

This is an example of an overlay edit. An overlay edit places a clip right next the first video that was edited. To do this, you edit the 2nd video that you place after your 1st video. I decided to edit the 2nd clip where I did because i got to show the character face and chose the best 1/2 seconds worth.

This Is Our Baler Pride

I think i am getting better at combining videos and making them into a good length clips. I did a good job of combining the videos at the excact cut. I'm happy with the way this video came out and it seems like i have succeeded my accomplishment. I should have possibly added a few more videos to make the clip a little longer. If i could do this project over, I would have put a nicer looking title cause to me it seems a little plain. On my next project, I need to remember to add a little clips and maybe put some music or sounds in the backround. On my next project, I would like to learn how to covert and fade the clips.

One way i helped my partner was to do the clips and taught her how to convert. My partner helped me how to the title and the credits at the end. On the project I gained a better idea about how to import videos to my control pannel. What helped me figure this out was to do it more then once. One challenge we faced was trying to put this video on youtbe. We over came this because we asked Dr. A.

Our groups discussion about values.com

Our Group had discussed about values. Values is in everyday life. The people in the world all have values for example people's lives are all considered values. Not only the people's lives are valued but the things they have. Values is something that is lived by and deeply held, by your personal  rules and something that is worth your morals, beliefs, and what makes you who you are. Its an important aspect of your life.

So today's task was for us to make sure we had edited and made our clips pretty decent. Then we had to post them in our blog. This clip was filmed on monday the 15th of august. Which was the first day of school. The first day of school was alot of fun for the fact that we already started using the video cameras, im sure people really didnt know exactly what they were doing if someone handed them a video camera. Now all those, lets say about 120 students Dr. A is teaching just got the chance to learn how to use a video camera. Not only that, he also taught us how to edit a clip. All in all teldramatic arts class is getting more and more interesting as time goes. Thanks Dr. A for helping us out.
